Terms
Last updated 28 October 2026
name.casa is run by Mirahost LLC ("we"). These terms apply when you buy or transfer a domain name here. By ticking "I agree" on the payment page you accept them.
Domain names are final
Once a name is registered for you, or its transfer to us is complete, it can't be cancelled, returned or refunded. That includes a typing mistake or a change of mind, so check the spelling before you pay. Registries do not take names back, and the fee is spent the moment the name is yours.
There is one exception: if we cannot register the name (for example someone else registered it first, or the registry refuses it), we refund what you paid in full, automatically.
Transfers
To transfer a name you must be its owner or have the owner's permission, the name must be unlocked at your current registrar, and you need its transfer code (also called an auth or EPP code). A transfer adds one year to the name. Most finish within five days; your current registrar may email you to approve it. If the transfer is refused, or has not finished after ten days, we cancel it and refund you in full.
What you pay
Prices are in US dollars, per year, as shown before you pay. The first year is the registration (or transfer) price; each later year is the renewal price shown. Some names are premium: the registry sets a higher price, shown before you pay.
Renewing
A name is registered for one year. You can renew it from your account before it expires. A name that is not renewed expires and may be released to anyone.
Your details
The name and address you enter on the payment page become the owner (registrant) details of the name. They must be accurate and kept up to date; registries can suspend names with false details. Some extensions have their own rules, such as residence or documents, which you agree to meet.
You keep the rights described in ICANN's Registrant Benefits and Responsibilities.
Use of your name
You are responsible for how the name is used. We may suspend or transfer a name when a registry, ICANN, a court or a dispute decision under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy requires it, or when it is used for abuse such as phishing or malware.
Availability
Search results show what our registrars report at that moment. A name is yours only once it is registered; until then someone else can register it first.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the version on the day you pay applies to that purchase. Questions about an order: reply to the email we sent you about it.
